I am a brand transformer, and visual problem solving is my superpower.
Like all entrepreneurs, I began at age 8 with my first design business, Kristin’s Krafts (yes, of course with a "K") personalizing acrylic goods with paint. My mom even let me have my own business cards. Our family's relaxed approach to child labor laws meant that by age 23 I was an established designer. A few years later, I launched my own Portland design studio, Red Door Designs.
Professional image-making and visual problem solving is what I love about my work, and it shows. I put into it over a decade of creative media agency experience, offering comprehensive branding, website design and a workable time travel machine (okay not that last one).
Let me help your brand's outside match the inside. My services turbo boost companies of all sizes. As your boutique branding designer, I can create from scratch or update your current brand. Either way, I’ll meet your needs in a timely manner and make you smile!
Good graphic design is a process of discovery.
I help people discover who they are and what they stand for by uncovering the beauty I see in them, their work, their values and beliefs. I help people to feel seen.
Good graphic design is empowering.
Lofty? Think about it: when we express ourselves visually, we have the chance to literally show people who we are; our essence, if you will.
Good graphic design is clean.
Clutter belongs in your basement, not on your website or packaging. It distracts the viewer from seeing who you really are.
Good results come from collaboration + trust.
WHEN YOU HIRE RED DOOR PORTLAND DESIGN STUDIO, YOU HIRE ME
